How business pickup works in Katy and Greater Houston

Request, pickup and data destruction: here is how to prepare and what happens to your equipment. Fees and waiver eligibility are confirmed before scheduling.

Three steps from request to data destruction

  1. Request

Tell us what you have and where it is. We confirm coverage, logistics and any fees before scheduling.

  2. Pickup

Gather equipment in an accessible location. Our team brings the truck, handles loading and tracks devices through our system.

  3. Data destruction

Storage media is wiped or destroyed through certified R2 downstream partners. Request a Certificate of Destruction for your records.

How to prepare your equipment

These steps help us plan access, loading and processing.

  • Back up files you need before handing over equipment.
  • Remove account, activation and management locks where possible. Tell us about devices you cannot unlock, reset or power on.
  • Sign documentation for any items that have fees.
  • Count computers, servers and other equipment separately. Label boxes or pallets so quantities are easy to check.
  • Gather equipment by your back door or loading dock. Include floor, elevator, parking and building access requirements in your request.
  • Request a Certificate of Destruction in your pickup request and tell us about any organization-specific documentation needs.

Data destruction is part of processing storage media. Read about data destruction and chain of custody.

Fees

The pickup fee is typically waived for 12 or more computers or servers. Item fees may still apply.

If there are fees, we'll tell you upfront.

Some items carry recycling fees even when the pickup fee is waived. We confirm costs before scheduling.

Fewer than 12 computers or servers?

For smaller collections, we may be able to combine pickups in the area. We confirm any pickup fee before scheduling.

What doesn't count toward 12

Monitors, printers, phones and some other specific items don't count toward the 12.

Recurring pickups

A flat-fee subscription is available for long-term customers with recurring IT disposal needs. Mention it in the notes of your request.
